A Small Shift, A Bigger Horizon

For the longest time, this space has been dedicated primarily to Android — Jetpack Compose, performance tuning, architecture patterns, and the everyday realities of shipping production apps. Android has been my core craft, and it still is.

But careers don’t grow in straight lines.

Over the past year, my work has started pulling me into areas that go beyond just mobile: system design, backend services, build systems, performance engineering, AI workflows, and product-level decision making. I’ve realized something important — while Android is still my foundation, my curiosity and responsibility now span much wider.

So this blog is evolving.

Instead of being Android-only, I’ll be writing more as a generalist engineer:

  • Architecture and design choices that scale
  • Performance thinking beyond a single platform
  • Tools, workflows, and engineering habits
  • Lessons from leading and building teams
  • Exploring new tech stacks and ideas as I encounter them

Android content isn’t going away — it’s just being joined by a broader set of conversations.

If you’re someone who cares about building good systems, not just good apps, I hope this makes the blog more valuable to you. And if you’re earlier in your career, maybe this shift will give you a preview of what growth can look like when you stop thinking in terms of “one platform” and start thinking in terms of “solving problems well.”
